National Police Week 2009 was a remarkable week. I was able to meet, talk and hug so many of you and I feel priveleged to have spent the week with you. I returned home very encouraged about the hope and healing provided by C.O.P.S. during National Police Week, as well as what C.O.P.S. will continue to offer this year and in the future.

The 25th Anniversary Gala was an event to remember and I even received an email saying it was "inspiring beyond measure." Indeed, there were stories of hearache and sorrow that became lives full of hope and opportunity for the future because of what C.O.P.S. offers. I was and am, filled with such pride to be serving the organization, which not only supports me and my family, but contiues to support thousands of law enforcement survivors year after year.
