Bryan Pease, founder of Hot Pursuit Limos has been issued a patent as the inventor of the security-themed limousine.

In the document received from the U.S. Government, it states: "The Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office has received an application for a new, original and ornamental design for an article of manufacture the Security-Themed Limousine. The requirements of law have been complied with, and it has been determined that a patent on the design shall be granted under the law. Therefore, this United States Patent grants to the person having title to this patent the right to exclude others from making, using, offering for sale, or selling the design throughout the United States of America, or importing the design into the United States of America. Issued April 22, 2008."

"We are pleased to congratulate you on the issuance of your design patent," said Edward Livingston, Naples Florida Patent Attorney. "The issuance of this patent gives you a self-enforcing monopoly which enables you to prevent anyone from taking, using or selling a product covered by your patent."
