President's
Bio
Bryan L.S. Pease launched Hot Pursuit Limos after successfully
creating the first ever nationwide themed limousine company,
Racing Limos. The company started with an idea in 2002 using
a racing themed limousine and now has over 65 locations across
the United
States.
Bryan was a partner in a multi-million dollar transportation/special
event company called Excel Destination Management Services, Inc. from 1994
through 2002, with a customer base of Fortune 500 companies electing to have
their corporate meetings in the Naples, Florida area.
He also served as President and Chairman of the Board for two other corporations
during the same period. They were Transportation by Excel, Inc. a Southwest
Florida transportation company as well as IYS Charters, Inc., a commercial
boat operation and charter fishing broker.
Previously, Bryan acted as general manager of a destination management company
in Naples for 7 years.Florida Convention Services, Inc., which also had offices
in Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando, Florida.
In the early 80's, he was the marketing director for a western themed resort
in Central Florida where he produced outdoor country music festivals. Some
of the entertainers Bryan worked with included Willie Nelson, Ed Bruce, T.G.
Shepherd, Charlie McClain, The Bellamy Brothers, Hank Williams Jr., Bill Monroe,
Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Paycheck, The Oak Ridge Boys, Lee Greenwood and Alabama,
among others. To have so many headliners of their time in such a compressed
period attracted the attention of Nashville, Billboard Magazine interviewed
Bryan with regard to the entertainment success he had at River Ranch Resort.
Prior to moving to Florida, he was an Area Director of CMN Cable Network in
St. Louis, Missouri. The experience he received as a franchisee of the cable
network was an influence as he prepared for the launch of Hot Pursuit Limos, Inc.
Interview With The President
Q1. What type of business do you have?
A themed limousine service that supports local and state charities affiliated
with the police, sheriff's departments and state patrol.
Q2. What is the purpose of this business?
Hot Pursuit Limos, Inc. sells licenses to individuals desiring to go into business
for themselves. It is to teach them the business basics in order to be successful.
It is to grow the business nationwide.
Q3. What is the key message or phrase to describe
your business in one sentence?
Providing the tools to business people in order to provide a unique and fun
experience to the guest utilizing a themed limousine.
Q4. What is your reason for starting your own business?
While currently growing the racing themed limousine service into a national
company, I felt that the value of the licensee investment had grown so much
that it was hampering
those that wanted to go into business for themselves due to the higher investment
threshold.
Q5. What is your product or service?
Limousines designed to look like a sporty security vehicle. Vehicles utilized
are the new Dodge Charger. The Hot Pursuit Limos are painted, numbered and
lettered to pay tribute to the law enforcement community. Party busses are
made to look like prisoner transport vehicles.
Q6. Can you list three unique benefits of your product?
The only security themed limousine business in the world. One of the few ways
to learn how to start a limousine business from the ground up. The only transportation
service that is an extension of law enforcement by participating in charity
events and generating money to police benevolent groups. For a complete list
of the benefits, click
here.
Q7. What is the product application?
Unique weddings for those involved in law enforcement (one of the largest employers
in your local area), bachelor/bachelorette parties and other nights out on
the town,
children's
birthday parties, law enforcement charity support sponsorships.
Q8. What led you to develop your product?
Early in the start up of the racing themed limousines, I also looked at additional
themes I felt would be successful. I registered the domain name www.prisonbus.us several years ago in preparation for the launch. Only recently did the timing
come together for this business venture.
Q9. Who is your competition?
There is no similar product. This company has different demographics than the
racing themed limousine service, and the product has limited competition from
the traditional black or white Lincolns.
Q10. How is your product differentiated from that
of your competition?
The car is security themed. The car exterior features include a front bumper
bar, search lights, a light bar on the roof, 4 corner strobe lights and all
the markings of a typical security vehicle. Inside, there's a metal
cage
divider separating the security personnel from the "prisoners" in
the back.
While having security trim on your Hot Pursuit Limo is legal;
in some states, modifications to the vehicle are required.
Our License
Development Manager Dave Ziccarelli will be glad to answer
your questions
about your particular area. You may reach him at dziccarelli@hotpursuitlimos.com.
The Prison Bus is gray on the outside with prison "bars" on
the windows and all of the appropriate markings including
the words: HOT PURSUIT LIMOS PRISONER TRANSPORT VEHICLE.
Q11. What is the pricing of your product versus your
competition?
The national average for a Lincoln limousine is $85 per
hour. This product may be positioned at a higher level
due to the uniqueness of it.
Q12. Are you making any special offers?
Yes, we are offering several incentives: They include:
- Low advance royalty. Because we are in the launch phase
of a national company, we anticipate increases in the advance
royalty. This provides built in equity for the licensee.
- $500 travel deduction. When both parties agree that it
is in their interest for you to become a licensee of Hot
Pursuit Limos, we allow you to deduct $500 from the advance
royalty in order to meet the president of Hot Pursuit Limos
and attend the Business School.
Q13. What plans do you have for advertising and promotions?
There is no national ad fund contribution by the licensees; therefore all advertising
is at the discretion of the local Licensee.
Q14. Do you have the management team needed to achieve
your goals?
The management team will grow as the needs dictate. Having been the President
and Chairman of the Board of a multi office company with over 150 employees,
I am prepared for the future and understand the need for infrastructure and
delegation.
